Is Cristiano Ronaldo on His Way to Chelsea FC?

Real-Madrid Portuguese soccer legend and his agent are allegedly in talks with English Premier League’s Chelsea FC owner Roman Abramovich to join the West London soccer club.

Chelsea FC, defending champions of the English Premier League have hit an all-time low and have already lost seven league matches this season and are currently ranked sixteenth in the English Premier League.

Many eyes and fingers are being pointed to Chelsea’s manager and head coach Jose Mourinho, that although bringing Chelsea to win the Premier League last season, and this being his second stint as the club’s boss, is being seen by many as responsible for the poor performance this season.

Interestingly, Mourinho was also Cristiano Ronaldo’s head coach in Real Madrid prior to leaving to Chelsea in 2013.

When asked attending earlier this week the premier of his film, and asked by the press about a possible reunion, Ronaldo responded: “who with Mourhino again? Why now?”  “I still have two years on my Real Madrid contract, but no one knows what the future holds” he added.

Chelsea FC’s owner, Roman Abramovich is known to be on good terms with Ronaldo’s agent, Jorge Mendes, who also happens to represent Mourhino.

Avramovich’s proposed bid is said to be €100 ($107) million, making Ronaldo the most expensive player in soccer history.

It is estimated that Chelsea will release key players Oscar, Edin Hazard and Nemanja Matic in case the Ronaldo deal will go ahead.
