Wolfsburg Star Closes $80 million (£52m) transfer to Manchester City FC.

English Premier Club Manchester City FC does not seem to slow down for a moment.  After signing Raheem Sterling for $75 million (£49m), Premier League leader is now completing a second mega deal.

Kevin De Bruyne, 24-year old Belgium attacking midfielder, who is considered one of the young and most promising stars of Team Belgium, was purchased by English Premier Club Chelsea FC in January 2012, but never really received many opportunities with the Blues, and was immediately sent on loan to Belgium club Genk, and German club Werder Bremen, in 2012 and 2013 respectably.

In 2014, the talented player was sold to German club VfL Wolfsburg.  Last season, which was his first full season in with the team, De Bruyne scored 16 goals and marked 28 assists.  Thus leading Wolfsburg to second place (automatic qualification for Champions League) and a win in the German Cup.

It has been reported that a private jet is on standby this week, flying De Bruyne and his agent, Patrick De Koster to Manchester in order to complete medicals and discussions.

Manchester City FC is the leading brand of the City Football Group, who also owns Major League Soccer’s expansion team New York City FC.
