Jurgen Klopp Appointed as New Liverpool FC Manager

The 48-year old German signed a three-year deal, and will replace Brendan Rodgers who was sacked on Sunday, after managing the club for three and a half years.

Klopp joined German top-flight Soccer club Borussia Dortmund in 2008, and led them to two Bundesliga titles.  He ended in May his seven-year run with, and intended to take a sabbatical.  However his plans were cut short with as he will already be introduced by Liverpool in an official press conference tomorrow (Friday, October 5th) at 10:00 a.m. BST.

Klopp will assume management over the English Premier-League Liverpool FC club, which out of 11 games this season won only 4 in all competitions.  His first game at the helm will be a Premier-League match against Tottenham Hotspurs on October 17th.
